BIMM, the Building Intelligence Modeling Machine, is being developed to assemble evidence about existing buildings into a connected, source-backed model of their structures, equipment and systems.
Each vessel, compressor, tank and system carries its own measurements and passes them up: equipment to room, room to maintenance, maintenance to the people who decide.

EXECUTIVE VIEWPlants run on many control systems, each speaking its own language. BIMM is being built to understand them all and bring them under one control room, hand-built for each customer, shaped by their own data.
Existing buildings contain valuable information, but it is often difficult to find, connect and trust. BIMM is being developed to bring scattered evidence together into one coherent, building-wide model.
BIMM builds a model through a structured progression: every physical item is registered once, then brought to completeness step by step, with each step backed by evidence.
01Each component is identified once and given a consistent name.
02Components are located within the building in real space.
03Physical size and key dimensions come from source evidence.
04Geometry represents the object as closely as the evidence allows.
05Relationships to other components and systems are mapped.
06Everything comes together into one connected, building-wide model.

Every component in BIMM is linked to its evidence, so you can see what is documented, what is estimated, and where information is still needed.
BIMM records the fastest reliable route to each kind of building record for each city, county and state. That routing playbook is part of the method: each building makes the next one faster.
Building items connect to the requirements that apply to them. The spatial model and the operations layer support that same building record.
